This hard surfacing electrode is designed to create a tough and resistant surface on unalloyed and low alloyed materials. It can withstand impacts and abrasion, and is recommended for use on a variety of machine parts such as dredge teeth, beater bars, and rock drills. The weld metal can only be worked by grinding, and has a hardness of 57-61 HRC. It is also suitable for use on coal cutter blades, excavator teeth, conveyor worms, mill hammers, mixer arms, and crusher jaws and cones.
